Getting files right
Good files give sharp print and clean cutting. Most delays and quality problems start with artwork, so it is worth checking.
Preferred formats
- Vector PDF, AI, EPS or SVG for logos and text
- High-resolution TIFF, PNG or JPEG for photographs
Colour and fonts
- Set files in CMYK, and tell us about any brand colour that must match closely
- Outline fonts or supply them
Bleed and resolution
- Allow 3 mm bleed on small print and more on large format, as advised in your quotation
- Large-format images can be lower resolution at final size than small print, but must not be tiny; we can advise
Logos only as images
If you only have a low-resolution logo, we can redraw it and send a proof.
Sending big files
Use a file-transfer link or a cloud folder, or email the files to sales@boldmediaprint.co.zw.
