Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a quotation and an estimate?
A formal quotation confirms scope, materials and price in US dollars. Rough guidance in conversation is not a price.
What do I need to send to get a quotation?
Send the item, finished size, quantity, a photo of where it will be used and your artwork or logo. A rough brief is enough to start.
Which file formats do you prefer?
Vector PDF, AI, EPS or SVG with fonts outlined and colours in CMYK. High-resolution images are fine for photographs.
I only have a logo from social media. Can you still use it?
Often yes. We can redraw a low-resolution logo as vector artwork and send a proof for approval.
Do I get to approve artwork before printing?
Yes. We send a proof for approval before production.
Are prices in US dollars?
Yes. Prices are in US dollars and confirmed by a formal quotation.
Where are enquiries handled?
Enquiries are handled by Boldmedia Group in Rivonia, Sandton, South Africa. There is no confirmed Zimbabwe office or address yet.
Where is my order produced and how is it delivered?
Production, delivery and installation arrangements are confirmed per project in your quotation.
Do you install signs?
Where installation is needed, arrangements are confirmed per project. Work at height, structures or electrical connections may need a site survey first.
Do you do electrical work on illuminated signs?
Electrical connections are made by a qualified electrician.
Can you help with structural signs such as pylons and billboards?
Such projects need a survey and engineering input where required before a formal quotation.
Can you brand a whole fleet or several branches?
Yes. We prepare master artwork and proofs so every vehicle or branch matches, with a schedule confirmed per project.
How should I look after printed banners and stickers?
Clean gently with mild soapy water, avoid harsh solvents and store banners rolled or folded loosely.
