Aluminium letters can be finished with printed vinyl faces for gradients and multi-colour logos that paint cannot easily reproduce. We cut aluminium letters to your vector artwork and apply printed or solid-colour faces. The result matches your printed brand material closely.

Aluminium letters are dimensional letters made from aluminium, either flat-cut from solid or composite sheet or fabricated with aluminium faces and returns. Aluminium is light, does not rust and takes paint and powder coating well, so it suits both outdoor façades and indoor reception walls. Letters can be left with a brushed finish for a modern metallic look or coated in exact brand colours.

Compared with stainless steel, aluminium is lighter and usually more economical, but it scratches more easily and lacks the same deep polish. Compared with acrylic, it gives a more solid, premium feel and handles outdoor sun better. A good set of aluminium letters has smooth edges, an even finish and a fixing method suited to the wall, with stand-offs used where a shadow effect is wanted.

Supplying measurements

Provide the width and height of the area where the letters will go and tell us whether the wall is brick, plaster, cladding or glass. A straight-on photo helps us show a proportional mock-up.

Artwork requirements

Vector artwork (PDF, AI, EPS or SVG) with outlined fonts is needed for cutting. If your logo has thin strokes or small dots, we may suggest a slightly thicker version so the letters stay strong.

Survey and installation

Indoor aluminium letters are typically fixed with adhesive and locating pins or on stand-offs using a template. Outdoor or high-level installations may require a site survey to confirm fixings and access.

Maintenance

Clean with a damp microfibre cloth and mild soap; avoid scouring pads, which can mark brushed finishes. Outdoors, a rinse every few months stops grime building up on letter tops.

Frequently asked questions

Will aluminium letters rust outside?

Aluminium does not rust, though it can dull over time if left uncoated; a powder-coated or sealed finish keeps it looking fresh.

Are aluminium letters cheaper than stainless steel?

Usually, yes — aluminium is lighter and easier to work, though the final price depends on size, finish and quantity.

Can aluminium letters be any colour?

Yes, they can be painted or powder-coated to match your brand colours.
