Reception feature walls often combine a printed backdrop with a raised logo. We print wall graphics or fabric backdrops and add letters or lighting to finish the design. Boldmedia Print Zimbabwe sends a proof before anything is printed.
A reception feature wall turns the entire wall behind the front desk into a branded backdrop. It can combine printed wallpaper or vinyl wrap, cladding panels, slatted timber-look finishes, backlit panels or moss and texture treatments, with the company logo mounted on top. The aim is a reception area that feels deliberate and on-brand rather than a plain painted wall with a sign on it.
A good feature wall is planned around the space as a whole: the desk position, ceiling height, lighting, light switches and doors all affect the layout. Compared with a reception logo on its own, a feature wall costs more and takes more planning, but it changes the look of the whole room and gives the logo a stronger setting.

Supplying measurements
Send the full wall width and height, the positions of doors, switches, plugs and air-con units, and the ceiling height. Clear photos of the wall and the room from the entrance help us plan the layout, and a site survey can be arranged for larger walls.
Artwork requirements
Supply your logo as vector artwork (PDF, AI, EPS or SVG) with outlined fonts, plus any brand guidelines. Large printed backgrounds need high-resolution images at full size; if you only have a logo, we can propose patterns, textures or photography for the wall.
Survey and installation
Walls need to be sound, dry and smooth for vinyl or wallpaper, so repairs or priming may be needed first. Backlit elements need power connected by a qualified electrician, and work in an operating reception can be scheduled after hours where required.
Maintenance
Printed and laminated wall finishes can be wiped with a damp cloth and mild soap. Check backlit panels and LED strips periodically and have faults attended to before they affect the whole wall.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need a site survey for a feature wall?
For most walls it helps, because switches, plugs, uneven plaster and ceiling heights all affect the design; a survey can be arranged before the formal quotation.
Can the wall be changed later if we rebrand?
Printed vinyl and wallpaper can be replaced, and cladding or logo elements can often be reused or refaced.
Can you design it for us?
Yes, we can prepare a visual concept from your brand guidelines and photos for approval before production.
