Fabric banners are printed by dye-sublimation for rich colour that does not crack when folded. Boldmedia Print Zimbabwe prints fabric banners for events, churches, shops and exhibitions. Hems, pockets and eyelets are finished to suit your fixing.

Fabric banners are printed on woven or knitted polyester textile rather than PVC, giving a matt, premium finish with no glare under lights. They are used indoors for events, retail and offices, and outdoors where a lighter, more breathable banner is useful, and they can be hemmed, fitted with eyelets, pole pockets or silicone edging for tension frames.

A good fabric banner has rich, even colour, neat finished edges and a fabric weight matched to the use. Compared with PVC banners, fabric folds for transport and storage with fewer creases, photographs better and looks more upmarket, while PVC remains the tougher, lower-cost choice for long outdoor use in harsh weather.

Supplying measurements

Give the finished width and height, and tell us how it will be hung: eyelets, pole pockets, ties or a frame. If it goes into an existing frame, measure the frame's inside channel accurately.

Artwork requirements

Supply print-ready PDF artwork at full or scaled size with fonts outlined, in CMYK, with bleed added. Large photos should be high enough resolution for the viewing distance; we check files before printing.

Survey and installation

Most fabric banners are hung by the client using the chosen finishing. Installation can be arranged for high-level hanging banners or frame systems where required.

Maintenance

Most printed polyester can be gently hand-washed or spot-cleaned and should be dried flat. Store rolled or loosely folded in a dry place to avoid mould and sharp creases.

Frequently asked questions

Will a fabric banner crease?

Some folding marks may show at first; most drop out once hung or can be removed with a cool iron on the reverse.

Can fabric banners go outside?

Yes, for shorter-term use. For long outdoor exposure, PVC or mesh is usually more durable.

Can I reuse the frame with new graphics?

Yes. Tension frames are designed for swapping fabric inserts.
