Reserved parking signs are a small print job that makes a big difference to how organised a site feels. Boldmedia Print Zimbabwe prints reserved bay signs with names, titles or symbols. We also print bay stencils and matching permits.

Reserved parking signs mark bays set aside for specific people or uses: directors, staff, tenants, unit numbers, customers, deliveries, electric vehicle charging, mothers with babies and accessible parking. They are mounted on walls, poles or bay posts at the head of each bay, and are often combined with painted bay markings on the ground.

A good reserved sign is placed where the driver sees it while pulling in, is durable enough to survive bumps from bumpers, and has wording that is clear and polite. Personalised name or number signs are best made with replaceable panels so they can be changed when staff or tenants change. Unlike visitor parking signs, which welcome a group, reserved signs restrict a bay to one person or purpose.

Supplying measurements

Tell us the number of bays, the wording or names for each and whether signs will mount on a wall, existing post or new post. Photos of the parking area help us suggest sizes and positions.

Artwork requirements

Supply a list of bay names or numbers and your logo as vector artwork if needed. We can set up a template for all reserved signs so they look consistent, and send a proof before production.

Survey and installation

Wall-mounted signs are fixed above or at the head of each bay; new posts may need core drilling or footings in paving or tar. Bay line and symbol painting can be arranged alongside the signs where required.

Maintenance

Wipe signs clean occasionally and check that fixings are secure after vehicle contact. Order replacement name panels when staff or tenants change.

Frequently asked questions

Can names be changed later?

Yes, using replaceable inserts or panels so only the name part is remade.

Can you also paint bay markings?

Bay numbers, lines and symbols can be arranged with the signage where required.

What wording works best?

Short, clear wording such as the name or unit number plus "Reserved" reads best; we can suggest wording for special-use bays.
