Large-format printing is at the heart of what Boldmedia Print Zimbabwe does, covering banners, posters, vinyl, wallpaper and billboard skins. We print on a wide range of materials for indoor and outdoor use. Every job is checked against your approved proof.
Large-format printing is the process of printing graphics at sizes beyond normal paper printing: banners, posters, vehicle wraps, wall graphics, window displays and sign panels. Prints can be produced on vinyl, PVC banner, mesh, fabric, paper and rigid boards, depending on the job.
Good large-format work starts with artwork at the right resolution for its viewing distance, colours set up correctly, and a material and ink suited to indoor or outdoor use. Quality also depends on finishing: lamination, trimming, hemming or mounting. We help choose the right combination for each print, and arrange finishing and installation where required.

Supplying measurements
Give the finished size of each print and its quantity. If it fits into a frame or lightbox, measure the visible area and the full size behind the frame.
Artwork requirements
Send PDF files in CMYK with fonts outlined and bleed added. Images should have enough resolution for the size and viewing distance, which we can check for you before printing.
Survey and installation
Prints are supplied ready for your own use or can be installed. Graphics for walls, windows, vehicles or height usually benefit from professional application.
Maintenance
Clean printed surfaces with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid folding banners and posters when stored, roll them instead.
Frequently asked questions
What resolution do I need?
It depends on the size and how close people will be. A poster seen close up needs more detail than a billboard viewed from the road.
Can you check my file?
Yes. We review files before printing and let you know if anything needs fixing.
Are prints suitable for outdoors?
Outdoor prints use weather-suitable materials and inks, and lamination can add extra protection.
